Annapurna Region

Annapurna trekking is mostly visited trekking area in Nepal. The diverse terrain and variety of cultures of the region north of Pokhara make each day’s walk a different experience and make the area the most popular destination in the country. The Annapurna trekkingregion consists of peaks Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV and those of Annapurna south peaks. Giants, Dhaulagiri 8,167m and Annapurna 8,091m along with a mess of other peaks slowly begin to appear, like magic, before our eyes, rewarding treks that can be enjoyed by every lover of nature and beautiful landscapes. The major highlights of Annapurna Trekking are the ancient mid-western salt-route, settlement of Manang, Thorong-la pass between Nepal, Muktinath temple and the deepest gorge of world Kaligandaki. Upper Mustang of Lomanthang, the desert plateau located in the upper valley of the River Kaligandaki, the most beautiful hill station- Poon Hill and to the north of the main Himalayan range also falls in Annapurna Trekking region.
