After having adventure at Chitwan, we finally head to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha- the spot of peace and the light of Asia. Lumbini evokes a kind of holy emotion to the millions of Budhists all over the world.Finally, we drive towards Pokhara which is most wonderful city with encompassing mountain views in the north, wide lakes amidst the city, green backwoods, and warm local people. The real fascination of Pokhara are Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, Mahendra Cave, Seti River Gorge, Barahi Temple, Mountain Museum, World Peace Pagoda and Sarangk. Pokhara is additionally renowned for experience outside exercises like paragliding, avia flights, drifting, mountain biking and rafting.
The final days of our Family Tour will be spent in Nagarkot, a small hill station which is famous for viewing sunrise and sunset with mesmerizing Himalayan ranges. It also offers an exceptional view of the Indrawati river valley to the east. With an elevation of 2195 meters, Nagarkot offers a panoramic view of valley and is often described by visitors as a place whose beauty endures year round. If you are lucky enough you might also see the world’s tallest mountain, Mt. Everest from Nagarkot. Apart from that, for anyone who wants to have an adventure without exerting much effort, a hike to Nagarkot’s surrounding would be a good option
Day 01 : Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, and then you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 02 : Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park
After breakfast, we travel overland from Kathmandu to Royal Chitwan National Park. We experience you a lots of Safari activities; jungle walks, canoeing etc. Once the night falls down, we entertain you with cultural performances including bonfire before getting in bed.
Day 03 : Full day activities Chitwan National Park
Breakfast, the next, you get a full day safari activities in Royal Chitwan national Park – if you are lucky, you will see many amazing creatures that you spend most time to looking for; Rhinoceroses, Chitwan’s royal Bengal tigers, leopards, monkeys, Crocodiles many types of deer and reptiles. Check your camera gear – preferably with a telephoto lens and you will not miss any shots. Stay overnight.
Day 04 : Chitwan – Lumbini
After breakfast, we travel overland from Chitwan to the Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, where has been revered as the place of holy pilgrimage. Lumbini has been included as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Upon arrival Lumbini, we transfer you to the hotel, check-in and then we go walking through the Sacred Lumbini Garden where the Buddha was born converges on the Ashoka pillar, visit the Maya Devi Temple with its bas-relief sculpture depicting Maya Devi holding on with her right hand to a branch of pipal tree and giving birth to the infant Buddha who stand up on a lotus pedestal.
Day 05 : Lumbini to Pokhara via Tansen
After breakfast, we leave Lumbini by road to Pokhara. Check-in at hotel, rest of the day is at your own leisure.
Day 06 : Sight seeing around Pokhara
In Pokhara there are lots of place to visit such as Davi’s fall, Siddheshowr Cave, Mahendra Cave, Vindevashini Temple, Mountain Museum, Visit Fewa Lake and boating around there, Hiking to world peace stupa, and Sarangkot view point for sunrice view from the Himalaya.
Day 07 : Pokhara to Nagarkot via Kathmandu. Overnight stay in Nagarkot
The Nagarkot hill station is a haven of peace and tranquility lying 32kms to the east of Kathmandu. From here, on a clear day, there are stunning views of the Himalayas including- Langtang, Annapurna, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and as well as Mt. Everest and many people visit this popular hill station especially to see the sun rise or sun set over this famous mountain range.
Day 08 : Nagarkot to Kathmandu
Nagarkot to Kathmandu with sight seeing around Bhaktapur, Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Swembhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Squire and Patan Durbar Squire.
Day 09 : Transfer to international airport for final departure.
