Itinerary

After arrival at Kathmandu, our staff and representative will pick you up from the Tribhuvan international and then transfer you to Kathmandu hotel. You can also explore the city in the evening, stroll around the Thamel streets, and then return to your hotel in the evening.

According to mythologies, a starving tigress and her cubs were saved by Lord Buddha. After a beautiful exploration around the monastery, we will take a scenic flight to Bhairawa airport. Lumbini is a beautiful settlement and our next destination.
After taking a scenic flight from Kathmandu, we will continue our tour at the Bhairawa airport, from where we will travel to Lumbini. You will then visit Lord Buddha's birthplace, Ashok pillar, Maya Devi temple, and other regional landmarks. Gautam Buddha was born as Siddhartha Gautam, King Sudhodhan, prince of the royal family in the region. Queen Maya Devi gave birth to Lord Buddha in May 642 BC in Devdaha while traveling to her home. Buddha took seven immediate steps after birth, and on each of those steps, lotus flowers bloomed. Moreover, there are other incredible landmarks like the Ashoka pillar constructed by King Ashoka in 249 BC. Tilaurakot Palace is the place where Lord Buddha spent his life as Prince Siddhartha Gautam. There is a fantastic meadow along the banks of the Ban-Ganga River. You can also observe a large residential compound around the area. There is a beautiful temple dedicated to Maya Devi, mother of Lord Budhha. After touring around Tilaurakot, we will travel to Kudan. Kudan is only around 4.5 km south of Tilaurakot. Moreover, there are ruins of old structures, stupas, ponds, monasteries, and others. There is a Kasaya stupa where Lord Buddha was given a Kasaya (yellow robe worn by monks) after he attained cosmic enlightenment. We will return to the hotel and spend the night at a hotel in Lumbini.
After we have our breakfast, we will take a scenic drive from Lumbini to Ramgram, where you can visit the Ramgram Stupa built around 2500 years ago. The Ramgram stupa contains the relics of Lord Buddha as it is the only standing stupa from ancient times. This excellent historical site is of great religious importance. We can observe the great 7 m (23 ft) high stupa buried on the ground. After touring around Ramgram, we will have lunch and drive back to Bhairawa airport. We will then fly back to Kathmandu and spend the night at a hotel.
