Our Buddhist tour starts with a hike to scenic Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) and Boudhanath. We also visit the significant Pharping Monastery and explore Taudaha lake. The travelers will visit the Kapan Monastery on the next day.

The Buddhist pilgrimage site is of great religious and spiritual significance.

Itinerary
After arrival at Kathmandu, our staff and representative will pick you up from the Tribhuvan international and then transfer you to Kathmandu hotel. You can also explore the city in the evening, stroll around the Thamel streets, and then return to your hotel in the evening.
After breakfast, we will start our Buddhist Tour in Nepal with a scenic drive to Pharping. Pharping village settlement remains located along the way to the famous Dakshinkali temple. You can explore around the villages providing incredible local heritages.
The Buddhist monastery in Pharping also has many students, both local and international, studying dharma practice and teaching. There is also Taudaha, a beautiful lake that is also mentioned in mythologies. Taudaha is also the place where Manjushree kept all the Nagas from the vast lake of Kathmandu.
After exploring Pharping, we will continue our tour to Kathmandu, where we will have lunch. We then make our way to Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), located at a hilltop. Swayambhunath stupa is one of the significant landmarks of the city revered by both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims. The beautiful stupa premises is home to monkeys. You can observe many of them playing around the steps to this temple.
Furthermore, we can also travel to one of the largest stupas in Asia, Boudhanath stupa. Hundreds of pilgrims perform the Buddhist ritual of Kora of the dome, where they circumnavigate chanting prayers and circulating main wheels. The stupa has eyes that signify and send out the message of peace. We will return to our hotel and spend the night at a hotel in Kathmandu.
After our meal, we will start our trip to Kopan Gompa (Monastery). Monks around the world come to this monastery to study Buddhist philosophy and spirituality. After meditating, we explore around and observe the peaceful atmosphere. We will continue our trip to Namo Buddha. You will explore a small village in Kathmandu.
According to mythologies, a starving tigress and her cubs were saved by Lord Buddha. After a beautiful exploration around the monastery, we will take a scenic flight to Bhairawa airport. Lumbini is a beautiful settlement and our next destination.
After taking a scenic flight from Kathmandu, we will continue our tour at the Bhairawa airport, from where we will travel to Lumbini. You will then visit Lord Buddha’s birthplace, Ashok pillar, Maya Devi temple, and other regional landmarks.
Gautam Buddha was born as Siddhartha Gautam, King Sudhodhan, prince of the royal family in the region. Queen Maya Devi gave birth to Lord Buddha in May 642 BC in Devdaha while traveling to her home. Buddha took seven immediate steps after birth, and on each of those steps, lotus flowers bloomed.
Moreover, there are other incredible landmarks like the Ashoka pillar constructed by King Ashoka in 249 BC. German archaeologists found the birthplace of Lord Buddha, Lumbini, in 1895 with the help of this inscription in this pillar. UNESCO subsequently named Lumbini as a World Heritage Site in 1997. After exploring the beautiful sites, we will explore Lumbini Garden. We will rest and spend the night at a hotel in Lumbini.
After breakfast, we will explore Tilaurakot and Kudan near Lumbini. Tilaurakot is an important historical site located around 29 km west of Lumbini. Tilaurakot Palace is the place where Lord Buddha spent his life as Prince Siddhartha Gautam.
There is a fantastic meadow along the banks of the Ban-Ganga River. You can also observe a large residential compound around the area. There is a beautiful temple dedicated to Maya Devi, mother of Lord Budhha. After touring around Tilaurakot, we will travel to Kudan. Kudan is only around 4.5 km south of Tilaurakot.
Moreover, there are ruins of old structures, stupas, ponds, monasteries, and others. There is a Kasaya stupa where Lord Buddha was given a Kasaya (yellow robe worn by monks) after he attained cosmic enlightenment. We will return to the hotel and spend the night at a hotel in Lumbini.
After we have our breakfast, we will take a scenic drive from Lumbini to Ramgram, where you can visit the Ramgram Stupa built around 2500 years ago. The Ramgram stupa contains the relics of Lord Buddha as it is the only standing stupa from ancient times. This excellent historical site is of great religious importance.
We can observe the great 7 m (23 ft) high stupa buried on the ground. After touring around Ramgram, we will have lunch and drive back to Bhairawa airport. We will then fly back to Kathmandu and spend the night at a hotel.
