Welcome to Nepal. You will be greeted by our representatives at the airport who will then take you to the hotel. Relax and enjoy your first day in Nepal. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Today you will go for a sightseeing tour to some of the UNESCO world heritage sites in Kathmandu. You will start by visiting Boudhanath, which is one of the largest stupas in the world. Then you will visit the holy temple of the Hindus i.e. Pashupatinath. Moving on, you will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square compact with its many temples and other historical monuments. To end the day tour, you will climb up to Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, and watch Kathmandu city light up against the dark sky. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Today you will visit another world heritage site in the valley, Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Situated in the quaint Newar village, Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a museum of primitive art and architecture that showcase in the many statues, carvings, and the temples in the premises. You can experience the traditional culture and local food of Bhaktapur city as you stroll around. Later, you will drive to Nagarkot, a hill station considered to be one of the most picturesque places in Kathmandu valley and is famous for its sunrise and sunset views over the Himalayas. You will wake up early today to witness a mesmerizing sunrise over the beautiful Himalayan ranges. After enjoying the sunrise view, you will drive (6 hours) Chitwan via a picturesque highway. As you reach Chitwan, you will experience the change in topography. The hills start to disappear and you will see plain lands. Upon arrival in Chitwan, you will be moved to Chitwan National Park. Overnight at a resort in Chitwan National Park.
In Chitwan National Park, you will take a jeep for your jungle safari, which allows you to spot various animals like a one-horned rhino and Bengal tiger as well as witness many colorful birds. You can also enjoy the amazing elephant bath where you can get splashed with fresh water of Rapti River in the hot temperature. Also, you can go canoeing or rest relishing the amazing ambiance of Sauraha. The local inhabitants are the Tharu people whose Stick Dance is very popular in Chitwan for the exhibition of their culture, so you are going to thoroughly enjoy the performance in the evening. Leaving Chitwan Natipnal Park, you head towards the natural paradise i.e. Pokhara. The highway takes you back to the mid-hills and leads you on to the lake city with a view of Machhapuchhre (6997m) arising in the backdrop. After arriving in Pokhara, you can spend a relaxing time around the lakeside area and enjoy the live music and amazing food in the restaurants situated in Lakeside, Pokhara. You will start the day in Pokhara with early morning trip to Sarangkot Hill station for the stunning sunrise view of the Annapurna massif and Machhapuchhre (6997m) along with a bird’s eye view of Pokhara city and Phewa Lake. After sarangkot we come back to hotel for the breakfast and then do boat trip in Phewa Lake, you can also visit Tal Barahi Temple situated amid the lake on a small island then after crossing lake by the same boat we do one hour's beautiful hiking to World Peace Stupa. You will then be picked up at Stupa and then visit Davi's fall and Gupteshor Cave. You can then take a cycle and explore the city as you like. Overnight at a 3-star hotel in Pokhara.
Today you will return to Kathmandu ( to avoid road trip, you have option to fly to Kathmandu by paying extra flight fare ). Upon reaching Kathmandu, feel free to stroll around the places of Kathmandu, Thamel, Asan Bazar (local market) . Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, rest of day is at leisure until we pick you up at the hotel and then transfer to international airport to fly back home.
